We have just met Mr Howie at the start of our tour.

Environmental Art

Primary 6A and 6C went down to the Meadows to do some environmental art.

Easter Cards

P6's have been using their sewing skills to create Easter cards. There were lots of amazing designs, including chickens, bunnies and eggs.
Here is Robbie's design - I think you'll agree that he's made a FANTASTIC job of it.

Easter Baskets

P6 pupils have been making lovely Easter egg baskets.

Two very special guides awaited P6 this week, when all three classes were invited to Edinburgh Castle.

We have been exploring the characters and events linked to the Jacobite risings between 1689 and 1746. Our guides came from opposite sides of the conflict and, using a rich array of props and original artefacts, they brought the daily lives of soldiers vividly to life.

You can find some images from the day, along with the questions they provoke, in this show.

The tours were a wonderful way of bringing history to life - well done especially to those who helped our tour guides make this one of the most interesting trips ever!
