Maths Challenge

We had great fun at Fettes Prep School's Maths Challenge. Amongst other things we learned a really speedy way to multiply a 3 or 4 digit by 11. Try testing us!

Engineering cars at science and engineering club

We have been learning about different parts in cars and then have been designing and building our own with Knex.  We are about to have a competition to see which is the fastest and which climbs the best up a slope.

Learning about Camera Shots

One of our goals this term is learning more about creating more professional videos to show what we have learned.  As part of this work we were learning about framing more effective shots.  Today we looked at  photography techniques such as rule of thirds, use of shadow, horizon and critical focus and then worked in groups to take photographs which used some of these techniques.

Dance Success for Jenny and Iona
